SingPlayStudios is excited to host its FOURTH ANNUAL "Backyard Music and Arts Summer Camp" in Brentwood, TN. Students will spend their time learning (and writing) songs in many genres, playing instruments, working on performance technique, getting creative in their art classes, making new friends and rehearsing for a backyard show!

This FIVE day camp will take place from Monday, June 9th to Friday June 13th

M-TH 10am-2pm and Friday 2pm-6pm at our Brentwood location (just off Wilson Pike, North of Concord). Our address will be shared after registration.  Campers will present their work in a backyard concert and art show ~ 6:30pm on the final night. 

$275 (EARLY BIRD PRICE) for the week includes coursestorm's $10 signup fee, the art supply fee, sheet music and a pizza dinner on Friday night. The price will go up to $285 on Feb 15th, and $300 on May 1st.  

Camp is open to rising K-9 students. 

The week will be led by seasoned K-12 musician/teacher and mom, Sarah Bonsignore, and middle school/high school art teacher and mom, Maryann McGinley.

Students should bring a bagged lunch, a filling snack and a labeled water bottle, a notebook and pencil, a three ring binder, a labeled towel, an instrument if they want to play something other than piano/guitar/ukulele, and sunscreen. 

At SingPlayStudios we believe in providing quality arts education for all, while building a safe, supportive and loving community together. No experience necessary, but an open mind and a positive/collaborative attitude will go a long way!

Sarah Bonsignore (SPS Founder/Director) is a South African born American musician, singer songwriter, composer, educator, artist and producer with a masters degree in music and 25+ years of classroom teaching experience in New York City and Westchester. Her music heard on radio and TV throughout South Africa and the US, and her debut album with her duo "The Magnolia Janes" made no. 1 on the folk charts in 2024 with five songs in the top twenty. Sarah is passionate about making the world a better place through the arts. Sarah is currently curating an amazingly talented group of educators and creatives to help develop the programs. She's also a mom of three boys at Brentwood Middle and Brentwood High :)

The camp will be co-led by the wonderful Maryann McGinley, Franklin artist, educator and mom with a masters in art education and a decade of teaching experience.
