(rising Gr 3-9) Music and Arts Backyard Summer Camp!

SingPlayStudios is excited to host its FIFTH ANNUAL "Backyard Music and Arts Summer Camp" in Brentwood, TN. Students will spend their time songwriting/producing, playing instruments, working on performance technique, and getting creative in their art classes with midcentury modern art styles, making new friends and preparing for a music and art show as part of the FUMC Franklin Art Crawl!
This FIVE day camp will take place from Monday, June 1st to Friday June 5th
M-W 10am-3pm Brentwood Location
Th 10am-6pm (including pizza dinner) Brentwood Location
Friday 3pm-6pm at FUMC in downtwon Franklin. Campers will present their work in a concert and art show ~ 5pm on the final night at FUMC as part of the Franklin Art Crawl.
$275 early bird price until March 1st. $20 art supply/pizza/T shirt fee to be paid on the first day of camp.
Camp is open to rising grade 3-9 students.
The week will be led by seasoned K-12 musician/teacher/producer and mom, Sarah Bonsignore, and middle school/high school art teacher and mom, Maryann McGinley.
Students should bring a bagged lunch, a filling snack and a labeled water bottle, a notebook and pencil, a three ring binder, a labeled towel, an instrument if they want to play something other than piano/guitar/ukulele, and sunscreen.
At SingPlayStudios we believe in providing quality arts education for all, while building a safe, supportive and loving community together. No experience necessary, but an open mind and a positive/collaborative attitude will go a long way!

Sarah Bonsignore (SPS Founder/Director) is a South African born American musician, singer songwriter, composer, educator, artist and producer with a masters degree in music and 25+ years of classroom teaching experience in New York City and Westchester. Her music has been heard on radio, TV and film throughout South Africa, Europe and the US with over 70 placements under her belt. Sarah's debut duo album with her "The Magnolia Janes" project made no. 1 on the FAI folk charts in 2024 with five songs in the top twenty. Sarah is passionate about making the world a better place through the arts. She is currently curating an amazingly talented group of educators, camp counsellors and creatives to help develop the camp programs. Sarah is also a mom of three boys at Brentwood Middle and Brentwood High School :)
The camp will be co-led by the wonderful Maryann McGinley, Franklin artist, educator and mom with a masters in art education and a decade of teaching experience.
